“Conservation agriculture improves soil structure and fertility, favouring farming systems that are more efficient, sustainable and prepared for climate challenges”.
Make conservation agriculture profitable
At Solsano we help farmers achieve profitable conservation agriculture that improves the soil, optimises water use and strengthens crop resilience.
How we work
with the farmer
We support farmers with technical guidance, training in conservation agriculture and access to the value generated by carbon to improve the profitability of their farm.
- Project support and management
- Ongoing technical support
- Advance payments from year one
- Sale of carbon credits
A clear process, no surprises
From the moment the contract is signed, the farmer has full visibility into the process. We validate each season together and advance the agreed income.
-
1
Year one · First payment
The farmer provides the season data, which is validated. They receive the first advance on the estimated value.
-
2
Year two · Second payment
The second season is recorded and validated. A new advance is made while a professional continues the technical follow-up of the farm.
-
3
Year three or four · Verification
An independent auditor certifies the carbon credits generated by the project.
-
Final payment
The credits are sold at a competitive price and the remaining amount is paid to the farmer.
Who backs us?
“Protecting the soil is key to securing future productivity. Conservation practices help cut costs, improve resilience and increase farm profitability”.
“Carbon buyers want evidence and guarantees. That is why it matters to have a serious, high-quality project.”
“Agricultural soils are a key piece in the fight against climate change. Regenerating them increases their capacity to capture carbon and, with a high-integrity certification project, generates measurable benefits for the farm”
“The shift to more sustainable farming practices drives more resilient value chains, where farmers can turn soil improvement into new sources of value”
High integrity
High integrity means every carbon credit equals one tonne of CO₂ genuinely captured in your soil: measured in the field, verified by independent auditors and certified to the most demanding standards (Verra). No inflated estimates, no empty promises. That is why global buyers like LDC and Aither trust our credits and pay more for them — and that value goes straight to the farmer.
- Measurable in the field
- Third-party verified
- Additional and permanent
